Diálogos con el
Imperio

LA HABANA,
CUBA.- En un aniversario
más de la entrada en La Habana, se contrasta con aquellos
revolucionarios que ofrecieron mejorar la calidad de vida de
todos los cubanos, pero que a más de medio siglo de Revolución
no han podido cumplir con esto y utilizan las mismas tácticas y
acciones de Batista, a quien combatieron, para apresar a quienes
piensen diferente en un mundo donde lo diverso es lo común, la
historia misma lo demuestra.
En el olvido
quedó la lucha contra la dictadura de Batista para pasar a la
dictadura de los Castro, como si esto no fuera lo mismo, y
convertir a la isla en una jaula de oro, que no deja de ser
prisión para los millones que sobrevivimos como si estuviéramos
en la mitad del siglo pasado. Nada cambió, más que los que
usufructúan la riqueza de este país del caribe. Ahora es una
casta de hijos de revolucionarios los que se benefician del
turismo y sus allegados y quienes les cantan.
Como en la
época de Batista, los chivatos y vivir en libertad como
sociedad, libertad de expresión, de reunión, de información, de
prensa, por la que se supone lucharon miles de cubanos durante
la revolución, siguen estando pendientes porque cuando esto no
es para halagarlos, no lo aceptan.
Resulta ahora
que los que siempre denostaron al imperialismo Yanqui, llevaban
ya casi dos años hablando con sus representantes para reiniciar
las relaciones diplomáticas porque se están quedando sin que dar
a los cubanos que emigran al exterior ante la baja calidad de
vida y de oportunidades de empleos que no tenemos.
No tenían para
pagarle a más de un millón de trabajadores y los corrieron para
convertirlos en cuentapropistas, para que en lugar de pagarles,
ellos les paguen impuestos por las actividades que realicen para
ganarse la vida de manera que ahora ganan en lugar de perder.
Las cuentas de
la Revolución no son satisfactorias para millones de cubanos que
sobrevivimos como podemos en cada uno de los rincones de la isla
y donde la libertad de expresión no existe, mucho menos la de
reunión o manifestación de ideas que cuando son contrarias al
gobierno de Castro, son reprimidas por la policía política, la
prensa independiente acosada por los cuerpos policíacos y los
disidentes arrestados, como en la época de Batista.
Nada ha
cambiado. El tiempo se ha detenido en Cuba, donde se espera que
tengamos las libertades de que gozan todos los seres humanos en
el mundo y no que siga siendo como hasta ahora sucede en
gobiernos como el de Corea del Norte donde todo, desde la
vestimenta, ropa y maneras de hacer las cosas, la decide una
sola persona como rey de hace miles de años y que en Cuba la
decide una sola familia y sus chivatos.
Fidel ha
callado en sus escritos que siempre publicaba en la prensa
oficial, otros dicen que está muerto o en estado vegetativo o
bien que no sabe que decir después de que se le cayó el teatro
de la lucha antiimperialista cuando Raúl mantuvo comunicación
secreta con el Imperio para que se reanuden las relaciones
diplomáticas, antes los problemas que ahora pasan después de la
muerte de Chávez en Venezuela y con Dilma en Brasil que aunque
inicia un nuevo periodo, se ha alejado de la isla.
Esto provoca
que las familias en Cuba veamos que las cosas empeoran y se
niegan a dejar que lo expresemos libremente como sucede en todos
los países del mundo. Los jóvenes dejan la isla como pueden, los
viejos tienen que trabajar más para sobrevivir y el gobierno
revolucionario copia las políticas capitalistas para que no se
jubilen, en lugar de acortar los años de trabajo los alarga para
poder hacerlo.
El socialismo
en Cuba solo es de dicho, declarativo, no se ve por ningún lado
lo que afirman. Los estudiantes universitarios están esperando
que el anunció de Obama y Castro, se refleje con el acceso a las
redes sociales donde puedan expresar lo que sienten y que nunca
nos han dejado hacerlo.
Que el
reinicio de relaciones diplomáticas permitan a muchos salir a
los Estados Unidos para ver a sus familias y ganarse la vida de
mejor manera. Que así como puedan llegar materias primas e
inversiones a la isla, que en Cuba exista libertad para que cada
familia se dedique al trabajo o profesión que prefiera y no al
que el gobierno te obliga a realizar como legal porque de otra
manera, es un delito.
Sin duda que
los avances en educación y salud han permitido a la gente
avanzar pero es necesario todas las libertades sean garantizadas
y vigentes en la isla, porque la diversidad siempre ha sido lo
permanente en el mundo, no existe una idea homogénea que todos
compartan, siempre hay aristas distintas y ángulos para ver las
cosas.
Es tiempo de
que en Cuba la riqueza sirva para impulsar la economía y
bienestar de las familias cubanas y no la de los
revolucionarios, familias y allegados que durante décadas se han
beneficiado de ella a costa de todos.
Es tiempo de
cumplir los postulados de la revolución de que haya prensa libre
y no vendida al gobierno, libertad de expresión, de reunión, de
manifestación de ideas sin represión de policía alguna, como lo
hacen ahora contra los que piensan distinto del gobierno.
Son tiempos de
cambio sin duda, pero debemos empezar por cambiar nosotros para
que seamos los actores de dichos cambios para bien de la isla
mayor de las Antillas.

Dialogues
with the Empire

CUBA.- On the anniversary of the entry into
Havana, contrasted with those revolutionaries who
offered to improve the quality of life of all Cubans,

gain rather than lose.
The accounts of
the Revolution are not satisfactory for millions of
Cubans who survived as we can in every corner of the
island and where freedom of expression does not
exist, much less meeting or manifestation of ideas
when they are contrary to government Castro, are
suppressed by the political police, the independent
press harassed by police forces and dissident
arrested, as in the days of Batista.
Nothing has
changed. The time has stopped in Cuba, where it is
expected to have the freedoms enjoyed by all human
beings in the world and not to remain as now happens
in governments like North Korea where everything
from clothing, clothing and ways of doing things, is
decided by a single person as king of thousands of
years and that Cuba is decided by a single family
and their informers.
Fidel has
quietly in his writings always published in the
official press, others say it is dead or in a
vegetative state or does not know what to say after

of diplomatic relations allow many go to the United
States to see their families and living better. That
may come as commodities and investments to the
island, there is freedom in Cuba so that each family
is engaged in the business or profession you prefer
and not to the government forces you to make as
legal because otherwise, it is an offense .
No doubt that
advances in education and health have allowed people
to move but need all freedoms are guaranteed and
force on the island, because diversity has always
been the permanent in the world, there is no uniform
idea we all share, there are always different edges
and angles to see things.
It is time that
in Cuba wealth serves to boost the economy and
welfare of Cuban families and not that of the
revolutionaries, families and friends who for
decades have benefited from it at the expense of
all.
It's time to
meet the principles of the revolution that has free
press and not sold to the government, freedom of
expression, assembly, demonstration of ideas without
any police repression, as they do now against those
who think differently from the government.
These are times
of change no doubt, but we must begin to change
ourselves so that we are the actors of such changes
for the good of the largest island of the Antilles.
